The Flora

As in most places having a tropical climate, the coast of Bahia is blessed with a wide variety of uncommon trees, including many that produce delicious tropical fruits or used for medicinal purposes.  Equally prolific are the colorful array of exotic flowers that create a significant contrast in this land overpowered by coconut trees.   Walking through this extensive unspoiled habitat makes one realize why this is the perfect place to celebrate the diversity of nature.
